Register for Adventures

Here you'll find all the finer details about adventures, and how to get your dog registered to attend.

Adventures are held across fenced paddocks with trees and native bush for shade, on private property.

Each adventure is 2 hours at the farm, plus pick-up and drop-off.

Pick-up is expected to be between 8–10:30 am.

  • Your dog’s pick-up time can vary each week, as each route is customised to minimise the total travel time for the dogs.

Drop-off is expected to be between 12:30-4 pm.

  • This timeframe is more varied based on our start time, traffic, the number of dogs in the pack that day and how many dogs need a rinse-off at hometime!

Your dog needs to be fully vaccinated (including the vaccination for ‘kennel cough’), and up to date with flea and worming treatments to attend adventures.

Be aware: this is a FARM adventure, and dogs will be dogs! Your dog will likely come home dirtier than when they were picked up, especially during the wetter seasons when mud is unavoidable. If your dog gets muddy I will hose/rinse and towel-dry them, but I can't promise they'll come back home as clean as when they left (though I do promise the fun is worth it!). If you like to keep your dog clean, it's a good idea to plan their next bath for after their adventure.

You have the option to book a regular weekly adventure at the discounted rate, or to book casually as needed.

  • Casual bookings being accepted will be dependent on available spaces and which other dogs are already booked in the group

  • If you would like to guarantee your dog’s space each week, I recommend a recurring weekly booking at the discounted rate

  • Adventure bookings can be cancelled free of charge with 24 hours notice

  • Cancellation of your recurring bookings requires 14 days notice

  • Cancellation more than once every 2 months may affect your discounted rate, at my discretion (please let me know if you would like to discuss extra cancellations, as I’m happy to make exceptions depending on the circumstances)

Multiple-dog households receive a $15 discount on the fee for any extra dog/s.

Your first adventure will incur a one-off $40 assessment fee per dog. I'll be spending a lot of time and focus on settling your dog in with the group, monitoring their behaviour, practicing their responses to commands like recall, and sometimes using a long line to start with.

An initial meet & greet with myself is free of charge.

Payment is due 1 week prior to an adventure:

  • Cash on pick-up

  • Bank deposit:

    • Account Name: DASH DOGS LIMITED

    • Account Number: 12-3653-0056718-00

    • Please use your dog’s name as the payment reference

Finally, please let me know if there’s anything you would like to discuss, or any questions you have. I’ve learned from some of the best pack walkers and dog day-care facilities in Auckland when creating my policies and procedures, but I am always interested in fine-tuning them and I would love to hear any questions or feedback you have to help make us even better!
